BarCoe Studio Reflects on "BarCoe Sounds Day" Coverage by Pro AVL MEA

Abu Dhabi, UAE — BarCoe Studio is pleased to look back on Pro AVL MEA's exclusive coverage of BarCoe Sounds Day — the hands-on open mic event that brought Sennheiser and Neumann's gear, and the region's artists, together under one roof just outside Abu Dhabi.

Supported by local partner Venuetech, the event turned every corner of the studio into a live playground: a podcast setup in the foyer, A/B microphone comparisons in the rehearsal room, and a pop-up monitoring space where musicians could hear their own voices through professional-grade equipment. For a studio barely a year old at the time, it was a defining moment of collaboration.

"They believe in helping artists, which is refreshing to see and an honour to be a part of," founder Sean Barcoe said of the partnership at the time. The response from artists, he noted, said it all — many couldn't stop talking about hearing themselves through the mics, in sessions made all the more meaningful by the technical team's willingness to sit, listen, and let them experiment.
