1. Meeting
We initiate every project with a comprehensive meeting to understand your creative journey and aspirations. Our goal is to understand you as an artist, your inspiration, the impact you want to make with your music, and the message you want to convey to your audience. This insightful interaction lays the foundation for our entire creative process.
2. Pre-Production
After the consultation, we develop a clear blueprint for your project. In this stage, we evaluate the song's arrangement, instrumentation, tempo, groove, melody, lyrics, and more. Depending on your needs, we can assist you in these aspects. This thorough planning process ensures we approach production with a clear vision, aiming to realize the song's potential before we even step into the recording room.
3. Tracking
Here is where our pre-production work comes to fruition. Every iconic recording is a captured moment of inspiration, creativity, and musical mastery. During tracking, we meticulously focus on every detail - from microphone placement to each musical part's performance. We aim to capture the moment where everything aligns perfectly and never resort to “fixing it in the mix”.
4. Vocal Session
For the vocal sessions, we extensively edit and balance the track to inspire your performance. We test your voice on various microphones to find the one that best suits your tone, coupled with the appropriate pre-amp and compressor. Once the technical setup is in place, we focus on capturing the raw emotion that inspired the song. We work patiently, whether it takes 30 minutes or an entire day, to ensure the vocal performance genuinely represents the track.
5. Mixing & Mastering
Upon approval of the recording, we proceed to mixing and mastering. Here, we reference our pre-production discussions to define the overall sonic approach. We balance and enhance the track using a mix of classic analog equipment and the latest digital audio technology. We encourage the artist to be involved at every stage to ensure the sonic direction aligns with their vision. The final step, mastering, involves the trusted ears of our mastering engineer to give the track a commercial-grade polish.
